Spring Maintenance
Three simple spring car care tips!
Your car, truck, SUV or van may need some extra care after a long winter of cold temperatures and salt on the roads. Say farewell to winter and plan for warm weather driving conditions with our 3 simple spring car care tips!
3-Point Spring Car Maintenance Checklist
1. Schedule an oil and filter change.
Regularly scheduled oil changes help maintain a good working engine. Motor oil is designed to lubricate and cools the engine, it also naturally gathers impurities. This is the most basic and affordable preventive maintenance routine you should perform to ensure your vehicle keeps running a long time.
2. Get your battery tested.
After colder winter months, your vehicles battery might be on its way out, especially if you haven't replaced it in a few years. Cold temperatures make your battery work harder by reducing the chemical reactions inside your battery. Why chance it, we provide FREE battery inspections!
3. Tire pressure.
When was the last time you look at your tires? Your tire pressure should match the recommended tire pressure in your vehicle manual.
Tire pressure may seem like a little thing, and maybe even something you don’t have time for but it really does have a significant effect on your vehicle's performance and safety.
If you don't know how to check your tire pressure, don't worry. We provide FREE tire safety inspections!
